Welcome to Amazing Logistics. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, regulations, and policies governing our services. By booking with Amazing Logistics, you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully before proceeding with any services.

1. Definitions

  • Company refers to Amazing Logistics.
  • Customer refers to any individual or business booking our services.
  • Goods refer to any items or possessions that the customer wishes to move.
  • Services refer to house removals, furniture removals, piano removals, parcel delivery, and man & van services provided by the company.
  • Contract refers to the agreement formed once the customer has booked our services and received confirmation from the company.

2. Booking and Quotation

  • All bookings must be made through our official website, by email, or over the phone.
  • Quotes are provided based on the information supplied by the customer. Any changes to the scope of work (e.g., additional items, address changes, etc.) may result in additional fees.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Upon confirmation of the booking, a contract is formed between the customer and Amazing Logistics.
  • Any promotions, discounts, or offers must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be applied retroactively.

3. Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required at the time of booking, depending on the size and complexity of the move.
  • Full payment is due either before the move or upon completion, depending on the agreed-upon payment terms.
  • Payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and cash.
  • Failure to pay within the agreed terms may result in additional charges and may affect future bookings.

4. Cancellations and Changes

  • Customers may cancel or reschedule their booking up to 48 hours before the service date without incurring any penalties.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the service date may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price.
  • Any changes to the service (e.g., change of moving date, address, or items) must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.
  • Amazing Logistics reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a booking in the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, staff illness, vehicle breakdown) but will make every effort to notify the customer and minimize disruptions.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • The customer is responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information about their move, including details about the size of the property, number of items, and access to both pickup and dropoff locations.
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring all goods are packed safely and securely. Amazing Logistics is not responsible for any damage caused by improper packing unless the packing service is provided by our team.
  • The customer must ensure that all items to be moved are ready before the arrival of our team. Any delays caused by incomplete packing may result in additional charges.
  • The customer is responsible for informing the company of any fragile, valuable, or hazardous items. We reserve the right to refuse to move items that are deemed unsafe.

6. Company Responsibilities

  • Amazing Logistics will provide a professional, experienced team to carry out the move in a timely and efficient manner.
  • We will take reasonable care of all goods during transportation and handling. However, Amazing Logistics cannot be held liable for damage to items that were improperly packed by the customer.
  • In the event of damage to goods or property, Amazing Logistics will provide assistance with claims. Any claims for damages must be made in writing within 7 days of the move.
  • We are not liable for delays or failures to provide services caused by factors beyond our control, such as traffic, weather, or accidents.

7. Insurance

  • Amazing Logistics carries public liability and goods-in-transit insurance.
  • Our goods-in-transit insurance covers damages that occur due to accidents during transportation, subject to the terms of the policy.
  • Insurance coverage does not extend to items packed by the customer or damage resulting from pre-existing defects.
  • If additional insurance is required, the customer must notify us in advance and we will provide options accordingly.

8. Limitations and Exclusions

  • Amazing Logistics does not transport dangerous goods, including but not limited to explosives, flammable items, firearms, and perishable goods.
  • We are not responsible for any loss or damage to items of extraordinary value (e.g., jewelry, artwork, antiques) unless previously disclosed and agreed upon.
  • Amazing Logistics will not be held responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, including traffic, weather, or third-party service providers.

9. Right to Refuse Service

Amazing Logistics reserves the right to refuse to provide services if:

  • The customer has provided false or incomplete information.
  • The premises are deemed unsafe for our staff.
  • Items to be moved are illegal or hazardous.

10. Delays and Waiting Time

  • If the customer is not ready at the agreed-upon time, a waiting charge may apply. This will be calculated based on the hourly rate.
  • Amazing Logistics will make every effort to arrive on time but cannot be held responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, such as road closures, traffic, or extreme weather conditions.

11. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the contract in the event of a material breach of these terms. Amazing Logistics reserves the right to terminate the contract without liability if the customer is found to be in breach of any terms, such as non-payment or providing false information.

12. Disputes and Claims

  • Any disputes arising from the service must be reported to Amazing Logistics in writing within 7 days of the completion of the service.
  • In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, both parties agree to seek mediation or legal arbitration as a final resolution.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Amazing Logistics takes customer privacy seriously. All personal information collected during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will not be shared with third parties without the customer’s consent.
